Policy Development

Objectives

  • To influence European and national policy making by promoting appropriate strategies and demonstrating the effectiveness of transcultural mediator approach in HIV-prevention and applicability to local health care systems
  • To incorporate the experience and results of the capacity building work (wp5) within the various migrant communities into practical policy on HIV/AIDS prevention.
  • To promote these policies through advocacy by the Policy Development Task Force in order to maintain the sustainable character of the work done so far.
  • To address additional aspects of human mobility in HIV-prevention based on feedback and input from the wider network of A&M. 

IOM is the work package leader.
